PRT Kunar visits local schools

KUNAR PROVINCE, Afghanistan – U.S. Army Reserve Captain Herman Blancaflor, a Chula Vista, CA., teaches a young Afghan man the ‘first bump’ outside of the Hadwal and Nawabad Schools March 10. Blancaflor is a civil affairs team lead for Provincial Reconstruction Team Kunar, and is deployed out of San Diego, CA. The team was conducting its first mission solo as it prepares to take the reins from the previous PRT.
