On patrol in Kunar

KUNAR PROVINCE, Afghanistan - U.S. Army National Guard Sgt. Jason McIntosh, a native of Austin, Texas, provides security as members of Provincial Reconstruction Team Kunar visit the Narang Girls School May 26. The PRT visited the school to allow team engineers to verify work on the project, as well as for Civil Affairs members to speak to the locals in the area. McIntosh is a member of the Security Force element for the PRT, and is deployed from Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 143rd Infantry (Airborne) out of Austin, Texas.
